Story:
Most artists in their own style and in their best effort attempt to create an image of that or those persons as though they were using a camera. I can almost hear the shutter click. I am just as guilty as those I just criticized however I avoid placing my subjects in the center of the canvas with a distracting background and try to create an emotion or a mood that expresses the persons character and personality. This is called "expressionism."
