Story:
John 14, 2-3: "In my father's house are many mansions." So sayth the Lord. Well This painting is about choices, those we make in our every day lives. If we believe in Christ and that he is our savior then we have an opportunity to be with the Father when the sun sets. We can cross a calm sea and land on a tranquil shore beneath a stairway to the heavens. The alternative is rough and turbulent water resulting in a ship wreck and dashed upon the rocks and washed into the chasm of eternal damnation, that is not being with God. I hope this painting conveys that message.
