Story:
This picture was drawn and painted from a 5" x 7" photograph. This is a photograph of a friend Mary-Jo, (the image in the green turtle neck) her mother and two sisters. I recently completed the pastel of her mother, another picture in this same category. I sketched the images of the women then realized the composition needed improvement so rather than redraw the images again I added some floral and leaves more or less as garnish. Some day if I have another opportunity I will redo this picture again.
