This is an oil painting on a 12" x 16" x 1 1/2" canvas with painted edges therefore it does not require a frame.

Story:
Five Roses on a 12” x 16” x 1 1/2 canvas. Someone asked me if all Roses smelled the same. Roses have their own DNA so to speak and therefore have their own characteristics including fragrance. There have been as many books written about roses as there have been about color. Therefore who ever said “a rose is a rose etc apparently had no sense of smell. I elected to use the colors I chose to emphasize my belief that a greater force other than a scientific theory that suggests that a giant eruption by happenstance could create such beauty as a rose, even over millions of years. There had to be a plan.
