Details:

A pastel drawing on a 12" x 18" Strathmore tinted paper using Townsend hand made pastels.

Painting # Pastel 1209-2

Story:

I generally do a pastel drawing prior to beginning a painting. This way I can add drama or emphasize a particular characteristic such as the eyes, nose or the mouth.
