Story:
"My Secret Garden" An oil painting using "Aqua Oils" on a 12" x 16" x 1 ½" panel. Aqua oils unlike regular oil paints are heavy in pigment and can be mixed with oil paint, acrylics and other water based paints including other mediums such as linseed or stand oil. The advantages over regular oil paints are the colors tend to be more brilliant, they clean up easy and they do not have the odor of paint thinner. However they are expensive. My secret garden is my studio where I can escape. I can paint or get a good book and look out the window and see the trees and the flowers. I can smell their fragrance and watch the squirrels, the birds and chip monks chase about as though I were not there. This is my world now, my painting which I may give away, my never ending story, for now.
