Story:
Being influenced by both the abstract and realism I have revised this painting from the original to reflect this union. Even though the original was so real she could have walked off the canvas I felt there was still something missing. And then I realized what it was. Julian is a very young girl with her whole life yet to be lived and this painting is just a page, one of many in her life yet to to be painted. In this case I have joined the abstract with the realism of her portrait to reflect a turned down page, one made of dripping paint with still another page to be turned. Another page to be Painted.
