Story:
This picture is of an Irish lady in her eighties who happens to be the mother of a friend of mine. I made several sketches before deciding on the composition. I placed bold colored flowers held in her hand in the foreground while letting her head rest in her other hand dreaming of a far away place called Donegal bay. I placed the fluttering white dove in the upper right hand corner symbolic of a Divine Peace.
