Story:
Strawberry shortcake, an all time favorite for everyone. Years long ago when I was about twelve I had an aunt who lived with our family for awhile. I called her "aunt Lucy". She taught me how to play "Bridge" and we played board games. But the thing I remember most about aunt Lucy was her strawberry shortcake. Fresh strawberries, shortcake made from scratch and the home made whip cream. She would take whole cream or double whip, a cup of sugar and a teaspoon each of vanilla and almond extract, a dash of cinnamon and beat it with a hand beater until it stood up by itself. This is also how I make whip cream to day .
